We had enough time to prepare between the written and oral exams.

Everything was explained clearly before the test, and everything went smoothly during the exam; the woman who proctored the written portion was very friendly and professional. The results were delivered 13 days after the test. I'll be back in a few months for the B2!

Here, we’re not just learning a language—we’re also having a great time. The classrooms are air-conditioned and not crowded; in my previous language course, there were 12 students, but in the class I’m taking here, there are only three of us, and I find that to be a huge advantage. Our teacher, in particular, is very friendly and goes above and beyond to teach us—making the lessons more fun and helping us remember what we learn. What is the difference between an evening class and an intensive evening course?

The regular evening course meets twice a week from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The intensive evening course is more comprehensive and meets Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’d like to learn German alongside your job at a more relaxed pace, you can choose the course that meets two evenings a week. If you’d like to make faster progress and have more time available, you can opt for the intensive option.

What does the German evening course at ILS Zürich include?

In addition to regular classes, participants are given homework and exercises for self-study. ILS Zürich also organizes optional activities such as game nights, movie nights, field trips, and group outings. This provides additional opportunities to practice German outside of class and get to know other course participants.
